General Services

Charging Stations Comfortable seats are stationed in Concourses A and B with AC outlets or USB ports to recharge laptops and other electronic devices.
Disability Services The terminal is handicap accessible. For people using wheelchairs, there are specially designed ramps, curbs, doors and elevators located at key locations. Elevators featuring Braille floor designations and raised control buttons assist the visually impaired. Also, service animals (see terminal map for service-animal relief areas) are permitted in the terminal buildings and on aircraft. Airline ticketing and baggage claim are also accessible. Airlines offer special escort/transport services, upon request, with wheelchair assistance provided from the curb to the security checkpoint, where two eight-passenger chauffeured electric carts and a 310-foot moving sidewalk transport passengers to and from the gates with ease.
There are hearing-aid compatible and volume-control phones in the terminal along with a Tele Typewriter (TTY) phone located at the entrance of Concourse B. Additionally a Public Access Videophone (PAV phone) is available in the lower level near baggage claim. The PAV phone offers Video Relay Service (VRS), video point-to-point, TTY or a traditional phone call option. All phones are wheelchair accessible. Several phones are equipped with data ports.
Handicap parking is available in the Under-4-Hour and Over-4-Hour parking garage. Handicap parking is offered at the least expensive parking rates—regardless of location. However, a handicap hang tag or license plate must be displayed on your vehicle to qualify for the least expensive rate. (parking map)
Emergency Services Airport police, firefighters and emergency medical technicians are on duty around the clock. Dial Ext. 257 on the beige terminal courtesy phones (or Ext. 250 in an emergency).

Items that are left at the security checkpoints are turned over to the Transportation Security Administration's lost-and-found. The phone number is (502) 413-0900.
Several airport concessions operate their own lost-and-found. If an item is left in a restaurant, passengers should contact HMS Host at (502) 363-2526. If an item is left in a gift shop, contact Paradies at (502) 368-7720.
Passengers should either contact their airline or rental car provider directly for information about personal belongings left on an aircraft or in a rental car.
Merchandise and Food at stores in Louisville International are offered at prices comparable to off-airport locations that operate under the same trade name or operate comparable businesses in Louisville. Hours of operation vary from store to store, but each store posts its hours.
