
Louisville International Airport's internet Flight Tracking System allows you to view in near real-time, and in replay mode, the movement of flights and air traffic patterns, within the Louisville region.
This tool is designed specifically for residents of airport communities, to enable them to become familiar with the use of their airspace in the convenience of their homes, with the use of the latest flight information technology. It is a service provided by Louisville International Airport in the interest of open communication.

Information Display
Much of the information you will see displayed in the Flight Information box is in FAA shorthand. For example, airports are displayed in three-letter code, such as "SDF" for Louisville International. Aircraft-type information will typically look like this: "B737-400", which is FAA code for a Boeing 737 400 series aircraft. If you'd like to decode the information in the Flight ID, Aircraft Type and Origin and Destination fields, please visit the appropriate links in the Flight Information box. (See below)
