Project Updates

More than $7 million in capital and major maintenance projects was invested in Bowman Field from FY 2002-2006. The Authority has programmed almost $8.5 million in capital and major maintenance projects for Bowman Field from FY 2007 to FY 2011.

Here's an update on some of the current projects:

Parallel Taxiway Lima

The south end (first phase) of Taxiway Lima is now complete. Bids will be taken in 2008 to construct the second (and final) phase of Taxiway Lima in the 2009 construction season.

Ramp Reconstruction CAA

The second (and final) phase of reconstructing the ramp area around Central American is scheduled for the spring/summer of 2008.

In addition, design work is underway to plan the reconstruction of other ramp areas.
