Central American Airways
Central American Airways occupies the oldest remaining hangar at Bowman Field. Central American started business at Bowman Field in 1946 in the old terminal building. The hangar dates to 1928 when Curtiss Flying Service initiated operations.
In 1950, Central American leased the facility, and has been operating from it ever since. Central American renovated its 20-year-old structure in 2005-updating restrooms and the pilots’ and VIP lounges.
Central American services include charters, jet fuel, aviation gas and aircraft maintenance. Thrifty Car Rental is located in the lobby of Central American and provides a convenient location for travelers and area residents to make car rental arrangements.
In addition, Central American has a pilot lounge, flight planning room, WiFi and concierge services.

Currently, Suite A (1,890 sq ft) is occupied by the Transportation Security Administration. Suite C (2,274 sq ft) is occupied by Globalair.com, an aviation services web-based company.
Suite D (1,536 sq ft) and suite E (2,544 sq ft) are available for lease. If you would like to lease space in the Bowman Business Center, or have questions about the business center and leasing options, please contact Adam Thomas (LRAA Properties Department) at (502) 363-8508.
