On Monday, June 24, roadway signs were posted alerting travelers that on Monday, July 15, various lane and road closures will take place due to the construction of the North Connector Phase of the Crittenden Drive Relocation Project. The road closures are:
• Nevada Avenue from Crittenden Drive to the intersection of Old Park Boulevard will be closed.
• Old Park Boulevard from its intersection with E. Woodlawn Avenue extending to just north of the I-264 (Watterson Expressway) overpass will be closed.
The lane closures are:
• The two eastbound lanes of E. Woodlawn Avenue, leading to the Woodlawn Overpass, continuing over the overpass and onto Nevada Avenue will be temporarily closed. There will be two-way traffic on the westbound lanes. Eastbound traffic will be directed onto the new North Connector roadway to access Crittenden Drive.
• The two northbound lanes of Crittenden Drive from just south of Wabasso Avenue to just south of Nevada Avenue will be closed. There will be two-way traffic on the southbound lanes. The intersection of Wabasso Avenue and Crittenden Drive will be accessible during this time.
