January 26, 2023

John Sistarenik was recently appointed by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to the Board of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority for a four-year term through July 2026. He replaces Mary Rose Evans, whose term expired following 20 years of service.

The Louisville Regional Airport Authority owns, operates and develops the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) and Bowman Field (LOU).

Thanks to his community involvement, including leadership roles with the Airport Neighbors Alliance (ANA) and Community Noise Forum (CNF), Mr. Sistarenik brings a familiarity of the Airport Authority and the airports’ operations with him to the Board. Since 1996, he has served as Vice Chair of the ANA while also serving as Chair of the CNF since 2003.

Mr. Sistarenik is a longtime volunteer for the Old Louisville Neighborhood Council (OLNC), including serving as its Chair twice.
