There’s a lot to do when you prepare for a flight. Here are some tips to make it all go smoother.
The early bird gets the window seat. Show up 1.5 hours early for domestic and 2 for international flights. Don’t forget to print your boarding pass the night before and contact your airline with any questions or concerns.

A: Some airlines offer skycap check-in curbside on the departure (upper) level roadway during peak travel periods. In addition, luggage carts are available for rent in the garage, lower-level curb areas and in the terminal. However, please remember that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires curbside vehicles to be attended at all times for security reasons. Failure to do so may result in fines and towing.
A: Travelers should arrive 1 to 1½ hours before their departure to check bags, clear security and board at least 20 minutes before the departure time. Many airlines now board and close the aircraft at least ten minutes or more before departure time.
