Mike Ford Hired as Human Resources Director

Skip Miller, Executive Director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, recently announced that Mike Ford has joined the LRAA team, effective Tuesday, May 31, to fill the position of Human Resources Director. Ford will direct all aspects of human resources management including employee recruitment, screening and orientation; compensation and benefit administration; policy development; safety and loss prevention and employment law compliance.
“Mike has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management, which will serve the LRAA well in his new role,” said Miller. “We’re proud to have him as part of the Airport Authority management team.” Prior to joining the Airport Authority, Ford worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH and Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany, IN. In addition to these roles, he also held a leadership position at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA. Ford has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Averett College, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bluefield College and served in the United States Air Force.
