Southwest Airlines Announces Nonstop Service to Denver

Southwest Airlines has announced that it will begin new nonstop jet service between Louisville International Airport (SDF) and Denver International Airport (DEN) with one daily flight effective November 4, 2012. The new service will provide convenient access to one of the region’s top business destinations and easy connections to dozens of cities in the Southwest network. The new service will be offered on 137-seat Boeing 737 aircraft.

“Increasing choices and access between major markets in the western U.S. has been a primary air-service goal of the airport. We are pleased that Southwest has chosen to add this new service and applaud their efforts to make travel from Louisville more convenient,” noted Skip Miller, Executive Director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. With this announcement, Southwest Airlines will offer 17 daily nonstop flights to nine destinations including Baltimore, Chicago/Midway, Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, St. Louis, Tampa and service to Atlanta beginning August 12, 2012.
