The Louisville Renaissance Zone Corporation (LRZC) has less than 120 acres on the market, which is prime commercial land conveniently located within two miles of Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, two interstate highways and a major rail line.

Through its efforts to promote airport-compatible redevelopment the LRZC has made public infrastructure improvements, formed the Renaissance South Business Park, consisting of approximately 680 acres and established the Renaissance South Business Park Owner’s Association.

Multiple infrastructure improvement projects are on-going in the Renaissance South Business Park now through Spring 2024, resulting in various road closures and limited access in some areas. Recent Developments

In 2008, UPS located its regional ground-sorting operation-Centennial Hub – on 60 acres in the park. Today, 1,100 employees work at the facility and it houses approximately 180 delivery vehicles and trucks.
In 2012, Ford Motor Company leased approximately 15 acres in the park to support its Louisville Assembly Plant. A 1,400-vehicle storage-and-staging lot and a new thoroughfare (Transglobal Drive) to the lot’s entrance have been constructed.
In June 2012, UPS Supply Chain Solutions purchased 117 acres in the park, which is located adjacent to its main campus, for its immediate and future expansion needs.
In June 2013, SJ Paris Properties purchased five acres in the park and subsequently built a 50,000 square foot warehouse/distribution facility for its subsidiary company, Ground Freight Expeditors.
In October 2013, Ford Motor Company expanded their original 15-acre vehicle storage-and-staging lot to 18 acres.
In January 2014, Dermody Properties purchased 18 acres in the park and subsequently built a 315,000 square foot warehouse/distribution facility which was completed in the fourth quarter of 2014.
In November 2014, Molto Properties purchased 84 acres in the park, which they are building two 622,000 square foot warehouse/distribution facilities.
In August 2015, Gray Industrial Realty 1, Inc. purchased 10 acres and have built an approximately 137,000 square foot light manufacturing facility for Challenger Lifts, which is owned by Snap On Tools.
Also, in August 2015, Dermody Properties sold their interest in their 18 acres and the 315,000 square foot building which sits on the property to Johnson Controls. The building will be occupied by their subsidiary Koch Filters.
In March 2016, Molto Properties sold their interest in 40 acres and their completed 622,000 square foot warehouse (north site) to Patillo / LOU2501, LLC. The building is currently leased to Hillsdale Furniture.
In June 2016, Gray Industrial Realty 1, Inc. sold their interest in their 10 acres and the 137,000 square foot building to MREIC Louisville KY, LLC. The building is currently leased to Snap-On Tools.
In August 2016, UPS announced plans to expand their Centennial Hub from its current 257,000 square feet footprint to 1,152,000 square feet – an approximately 895,000 square feet expansion.
In September 2016, Red Twig LLC purchased approximately 110 acres to build an approximately 1,027,000 square foot building that is expandable to 1,462,000 square feet.
In August 2017, Molto Properties purchased approximately 30 acres to build an approximately 677,000 square foot warehouse/distribution facility.
In July 2018, Ashby Properties II, LLC purchased approximately 6 acres to build an approximately 17,000 square foot service and distribution facility.
In April 2019, DPIF2 KY 2 Louisville Renaissance, LLC purchased approximately 17.5 acres to build an approximately 352,800 square foot warehouse/distribution facility.
