Delta Announces New Nonstop Service to LaGuardia

December 16, 2011

Delta Air Lines today announced that it will begin new nonstop jet service between Louisville International Airport (SDF) and New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) with two daily flights effective March 25, 2012. This service is part of the airline’s effort to establish a new domestic hub in New York and is the largest single expansion of service in decades by any airline at LaGuardia. The new service will be offered on 50-seat jet aircraft.

“We are thrilled Delta Air Lines is once again expanding air service from Louisville. These new flights will provide air travelers with well-timed access to one of our region’s top destinations for business and leisure travel while providing convenient connections to dozens of destinations in the northeast,” said Skip Miller, Executive Director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority. With this announcement, Delta Air Lines will offer 21 daily nonstop flights to five destinations including Atlanta, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis and New York-LaGuardia.
